PSU Mount Assembly

This mount was designed for the Parkonect 7TST tower, which utilized a MeanWell MPM-90-24ST PSU.  This mount featured a built-in cable stress relief for the 120V input, along with a safety cover with anti-tampering features. It also offered installation teams a few solutions when it came to mounting the unit including:

The assembly is printed in ABS in three parts and is designed to not require supporting material during print. The PSU is mounted using four flush rear-mounted screws and k-lock nuts. The stress relief assembly is designed to work with a SJTW two-conductor cable, specially a Southwire 9702SW8808. A zip tie mount is provided on the low voltage output to provide stress relief. Printed indicators on the back for tape strip locations for consistent assembly.

Both the use of rear-facing mount screws and the covered 120V input terminal, deter both tampering and accidental shorting when the unit is mounted in place.

I then designed a vinyl label for the top of the PSU, ensuring that the power supply is highly visible and easily identifiable. In addition to being water and oil resistant, the label provided space for writing location info on what that particular PSU is powering; which could be useful in situations where the power supply is mounted longer distances from devices or is mounted together with similar PSU's.
