I have developed numerous documents to assist in-field technicians and installers. These usually involve the following:

Although these documents were aimed at more technically inclined individuals, it was important that instructions were clear and concise to minimize mistakes. Diagrams are designed so that they are viewable under a large variety of circumstances. Most documents were written in a 'step-by-step' format.

A majority of the diagrams were developed using 3D CAD software. This allowed for view angles and clarity not achievable by photos.  It also made it possible to quickly develop manuals/guides for fringe cases and emergencies.
